GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking to fill a (2) two-month position that will assist with fish culture duties, facility maintenance, and grounds keeping at the Clarks Fork Fish Hatchery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed in the job level.
- Duties will include daily fish culture routines (tank cleaning & feeding), sample counts, feed calculations, fish inventories, aquaculture equipment maintenance, fish distribution and stocking, fish spawning, and a variety of other fish culture activities.
- Duties will also include work to maintain the facility grounds, buildings, and equipment not directly tied to aquaculture.
Qualifications
PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Preference may be given to those with the equivalent of a high school education, and to attach a resume with their online state application.
**Agency requires that the successful applicant possess a valid driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability and knowledge of grounds care (mowing & trimming), small engine maintenance and operation, operating 4WD vehicles, painting, and the use of various hand and power tools.
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This position requires working in a variety of environmental conditions, using a variety of tools and equipment, and some occasional lifting may be required.
NOTES:
- FLSA: Non-exempt
- The position will run from June 16, 2025, to August 15, 2025.
- Housing (camper) is provided at no charge to the employee.
