About WSE:

Watershed Science and Engineering is a small consulting firm (currently 12 technical staff) located in Seattle, Washington that specializes in complex hydraulic, hydrologic, and geomorphic analyses. WSE works on a variety of surface water projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Recent projects have included hydraulic and geomorphic analyses to guide process-based restoration, studies of wood and sediment dynamics, hydrogeomorphic restoration monitoring studies, floodplain mapping and hazard assessments, bridge and infrastructure geomorphic risk analyses, reservoir hydrology and operations studies, and climate change analyses. Generally, we conduct analyses to understand complex hydrologic issues or evaluate river processes, then provide guidance to land managers and designers to help them make decisions.
