Head Veterinarian – On-site position

  • Peruvian Amazon, Iquitos
  • Wildlife rescue & rehabilitation
  • Start: August 2026
  • Paid position
  • Accommodation & meals included

What you’ll do:

  • Clinical care of rescued wildlife
  • Health checks, treatments & anesthesia
  • Support rehabilitation & releases
  • Supervise vet interns & vet students (daily basis, programmed classes)

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in wildlife medicine (required)
  • High level of English (fluent written & spoken)
  • Spanish: intermediate level minimum
  • Driver’s license for manual cars (desirable)
  • Minimum 1-year commitment
