Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Virginia (CBNERR-VA) has a mission to exhibit leadership in coastal zone management. As one of 30 sites in the National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) system, CBNERR-VA has a mandate to conduct research, stewardship, education and coastal training. The Laboratory and Research Specialist will support major monitoring initiatives at the Reserve, inclusive of efforts in water quality and nearshore habitats.
