Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy (MHLC) is seeking a highly motivated individual with a commitment to conservation who is interested in growing with our organization. This is a fulltime, salaried position that will report to the Stewardship Director. 

The position will focus on stewardship of our growing portfolio of protected lands, including 22 public-access nature preserves and additional non-public access conservation lands. The position will work extensively with volunteers and must be able to complete physical activity including trail maintenance and construction. We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual who is comfortable working outside and maintaining our 22 nature preserves while working with a dynamic team of MHLC staff, volunteers, and the general public. A successful applicant must have seasoned experience working in an outdoor environment, ability to maintain equipment and the ability to oversee and carry out on-going maintenance of MHLC’s 22 public nature preserves.
