Position: Local Lead Recruiting & Expansion Coordinator
Type: Volunteer Role (Remote)
Hours: Minimum 5 hours per week

Are you passionate about community building, leadership, and sustainability? We’re looking for a Local Lead Recruiting & Expansion Coordinator to help us grow our network of City Leads across the world.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding local leaders who will represent 4WARD in their regions — helping us expand to new cities and strengthen our mission of global climate impact. ππ
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Scout and engage potential City Leads in target cities worldwide.

Manage the recruitment pipeline and conduct interviews and onboarding sessions.

Develop and refine onboarding materials and processes.

Gather feedback to improve the candidate experience.
2. Training & Development
-
Train and mentor City Leads on community management and event creation.

Share best practices to ensure alignment with 4WARD’s mission.
3. Global Expansion

Identify and prioritize strategic cities for network growth.

Collaborate with leadership to align expansion with global goals.

Build partnerships to strengthen local activation.
4. Community Support & Metrics
-
Ensure smooth transitions to regional support teams.

Maintain engagement and provide ongoing support.

Track recruitment and activation metrics to guide improvements.
Qualifications & Core Skills
-
Experience in recruiting, community building, or volunteer coordination.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to identify, assess, and onboard potential leaders.
-
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple processes at once.

Passionate about sustainability and local impact. π±

Comfortable working in remote, multicultural environments. π

Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Circle, Luma, and WhatsApp is a plus.

Commitment of at least 5 hours per week.
