Qualification Requirements 

• Master’s degree in Environmental Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing market-based Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) instruments.
• Experience with carbon credits, biodiversity offsets, tourism-linked payments, and other ecosystem finance mechanisms.
• Familiarity with international carbon markets and biodiversity finance mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, and policy advisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the feasibility of market-based PES instruments in selected landscapes.
• Design frameworks for carbon credit, biodiversity offset, and tourism fee schemes.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and private sector engagement.
• Develop implementation guidelines and monitoring protocols.
• Support integration of PES instruments into local and national policy frameworks.
