We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Natural Resource Conservation Scientist to support environmental conservation, land management, and sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will conduct research, analyze environmental data, develop conservation strategies, and work with stakeholders to promote the responsible use and protection of natural resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and assessments related to soil, water, wildlife, forests, and other natural resources.
- Develop and implement conservation and land management plans.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental and ecological data.
- Monitor natural resource conditions and evaluate conservation program effectiveness.
- Prepare technical reports, environmental assessments, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with government agencies, landowners, scientists, and community organizations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and conservation standards.
- Assist with sustainability projects and habitat restoration efforts.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and project reports.
- Support environmental education and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Conservation Biology, Ecology, Forestry, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Experience in conservation, environmental research, land management, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and conservation practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental data management tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
