What’s being offered?

The Coastal Interpretive Center is a cultural and natural resource organization based in Ocean Shores and serving all of Grays Harbor County.

This upcoming autumn and winter, we’re offering 1 college internship focused on the reinterpretation of biological, ecological, geological, and anthropological items in the CIC Museum collection. The Intern will ideally be excited about research, public engagement, and museum design.

What’s the commitment?

This internship is paid at $21/hr, from September through December, with the potential to extend to early 2026 as well. Interns will be required to conduct research, interact with the public, and prepare a summative exhibition at the CIC Museum. This internship can be mostly virtual but will require occasional travel through Grays Harbor County.
