Cannabis for Conservation is seeking a Nursery Manager to lead the development and operation of a native plant nursery supporting the organization's restoration work across Humboldt, Trinity, and Mendocino Counties. This role sits at the intersection of horticulture and restoration planning, ensuring a reliable supply of native plants and seed for projects working to stabilize slopes, restore watersheds, and rebuild biodiverse landscapes across Northern California.
As CFC continues to scale, this position will play a key role in building out nursery infrastructure, propagation systems, and staffing from the ground up, while also developing the long-term business and sustainability plan that will integrate nursery production into future grants and partnerships. Working closely with restoration planners, project managers, and the Natural Resources Program Director, you'll coordinate plant production with installation schedules, troubleshoot site-level planting challenges, and help the nursery grow into a self-sustaining part of CFC's restoration model.
If you're energized by propagation science, building systems from scratch, and growing the plant material behind real-world restoration outcomes, we want to hear from you.
