Collaborate with the Grand County Motorized Trail Advisory Committee (MTC) and other stakeholders to develop and plan projects that improve motorized infrastructure, education, and/or motorized trail user experience. Assist with identifying trail improvements and maintenance needs. Coordinate with land managers, partners, and stakeholders to plan and implement projects. Assist land managers and MTC with documenting and tracking projects and project status and collecting GIS information. Engage with the public with the goal of promoting responsible recreation in the Moab area. Exhibit professionalism and a friendly attitude while interacting with the public. Support County and partner-led education initiatives. Assist with data collection to inform understanding of local trail use patterns. Perform light trail maintenance duties, such as raking off-trail tracks or improving trail delineation, in coordination with land managers.. Assist with data management of websites and apps that provide information about motorized trails or motorized recreation in Grand County.
