Job details and application instructions are the link below, and here is some additional information.

This is primarily a GIS position, lots of quick turnaround map making, most involving pre-existing layers, but we also create our own layers for various important purposes, including several annual update efforts associated with various internal and external tasks and programs we support.  Training can be made available, but we will be looking for someone who already has good GIS skills that can be enhanced.  File/data management is a significant requirement in this role, and each set of maps is typically part of a conservatiopn land acquisition project.  There are many such projects in any given week or month, and we often come back to many projects later, so good organization and memory are important.  There are some administrative and other operational support duties as well, mostly purchasing-related (databases), along with scheduling and equipment maintenance.  Limited attendance at and/or travel to meetings and property visits is also likely.
