Essex County Trail Association (ECTA) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Outreach and Events Coordinator. In this crucial part-time role, you will be developing and implementing strategies to connect with our community, grow our membership, and enhance our presence through events. 

Key Responsibilities

Events Coordination

Connect with our dedicated trail community through the coordination of approximately 10 annual events. This includes:

  • Managing the entire event lifecycle: registration, promotion, organization, volunteer management, and execution.
  • Attending other outreach events as they arise, such as local fairs and town gatherings, to represent ECTA.

Outreach

Support and grow ECTA's vital base of members:

  • Accurately processing, recording, and tracking memberships and donations.
  • Maintaining and actively growing membership through targeted membership drives, trail alerts, and engaging social media posts.
  • Creating and distributing effective outreach materials (digital and print).

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to drive to local event locations, lift up to 40 lbs., set-up and break down events.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Suite/MacOS/InDesign) and basic familiarity with social media platforms. Experience with CRM software or membership management software is a plus.

Hours and Compensation

  • Hours: 10–15 hours per week in the Wenham office.
  • Flexible schedule, with the understanding that the role requires attendance at approximately 7 annual events that fall on Saturdays.
  • Salary: $23 per hour
