Ausbon Sargent, an accredited and respected land trust serving a 12-town region and stewarding 175 protected properties, seeks an Outreach Coordinator to build a robust suite of community programs for the organization. We have a committed membership base that supports our mission to preserve the rural character of the Mt. Kearsarge/Ragged/Lake Sunapee region in New Hampshire. The Outreach Coordinator will build and implement programming in our region to educate the public broadly on land and the benefits of conservation. This programming may focus on ecological education, land management, or research. It may be for children or adults.
A successful Outreach Coordinator will be personable, organized, and interested in community engagement. They will have the skills and experience to connect with the public in many ways around the subject of conservation. The position requires a team player who will be part of our productive, fun, and supportive workplace.
This full-time position is on-site in our New London office with regular outside activities on our conserved properties. This position requires some evening and weekend work.
