This position is assigned to the Manzano Mountains State Park and Rio Grande Nature Center State Park. This position performs manual labor necessary to develop, maintain and protect resources through such activities as maintaining facilities and grounds and maintaining and operating vehicles and equipment. This position will perform general maintenance of facilities and equipment. This position will assist park visitors. This position will perform administrative duties necessary for this position, as well as those required to meet the needs of the park, including collection and verification of revenues due to the state. This position is responsible for the general supervision, training and assigning of duties to seasonal staff and park volunteers. This position will fulfill managerial requirements when the Park Manager is not available.

Experience in:
- 2 years in customer service
- 2 years in grounds and facility maintenance including road and trail maintenance skills
- 1 year in minor construction tools/equipment
- 1 year in vehicle and equipment repair skills
- 2 years in interpretive/education programing skills
- 1 year in water system knowledge
Minimum Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of experience in parks, monuments, museums, interpretive/educational ranger, field archaeologist, and/or ruins preservationist at a historic site.
