Under the direction of the HR Operations Supervisor, the Health and Safety/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Analyst independently performs journey-level analytical and consultative work to coordinate and administer a range of human resources, health and safety, and equal employment opportunity programs. The incumbent performs a wide range of sensitive analytical program work related to a variety of programs, including completion of mandated functions, activities, and reporting requirements.

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Experience developing and implementing EEO policies, processes and procedures.
- Experience with health and safety programs.
- Experience collecting, researching, and analyzing data for preparation of written reports and memorandums.
- Ability to effectively coordinate multiple assignments.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Ability to remain neutral, impartial, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues and/or information.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex laws, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
