Through thoughtfully produced goods, film and photography, editorial content and immersive global trunk shows, it supports the protection of wild spaces and wildlife, cultural preservation and ethical craftsmanship around the world.

TEW is an affiliate of the Chantecaille Conservation Foundation (CCF), a global private operating foundation focused on safeguarding wild spaces under threat and the wildlife that inhabit these areas (www.chantecaillecf.org).

Position Overview

The Elephant Way (TEW) Project, Production & Communications Coordinator serves as the point person for coordination, communication, and production logistics across all projects.

This role supports the Founders, Sylvie, Alex and Olivia Chantecaille, and global teams in connecting TEW’s creative, production, web management and social media functions while facilitating seamless collaboration across regions and disciplines.

The position is vital in aligning creative vision, editorial tone, communications, and production timelines to ensure that every project runs efficiently from planning through to delivery, including the coordination of global trunk shows, sales, promotion and other brand building events.

The Project, Production & Communications Coordinator will work closely with the CCF team and be based in our headquarters in Greenwich, CT.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Elephant Way (TEW) Project, Production & Communications Coordinator will primarily encompass:

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Serving as the central communication hub across The Elephant Way team and also connecting external collaborators.
  • Overseeing and tracking progress across photography, video, editorial, web, social-media, and product-development workflows.
  • Coordinating global communications between creative, production, and field teams in the USA, UK, Kenya, Colombia and future regions.
  • Scheduling and facilitating weekly team Zoom calls, ensuring clear communication, agendas, and follow-through on action points.
  • Maintaining and updating project trackers, timelines, and digital archives.
  • Drafting and circulating key updates, summaries, and follow-ups to ensure alignment across departments.
  • Filtering and prioritizing incoming information and correspondence for the Founders and other senior management.

Content & Asset Management

  • Overseeing the collection, organization, and cataloguing of photography, video, and editorial assets from global shoots.
  • Maintaining consistency in data management, file naming, and asset organization for accessibility and archiving.
  • Liaising with photographers, filmmakers, editors, copywriters, and social-media partners to ensure unified storytelling and brand tone.
  • Supporting the preparation of creative and editorial briefs and the timely distribution of imagery and copy for social, digital, and print use.

Production Support

  • Coordinating with production teams and artisans in Kenya and Colombia, with new regions and projects being added in 2026.
  • Tracking production budgets, sample deliveries, and product-development milestones in partnership with Production Manager.
  • Managing shoot logistics, including talent coordination, location details, permits, and schedules.
  • Overseeing post-production workflows to ensure smooth delivery of edited assets and captions.

Social Media, Web & Marketing Coordination

  • Liaising between creative, web, social, and editorial teams to ensure content calendars and deliverables are aligned and clearly articulated.
  • Collaborating with Social Media Manager on strategy, scheduling, and posting cadence.
  • Working with Digital Manager on web-site updates, asset integration, and digital launches.
  • Partnering with Communications Manager on editorial tone, storytelling, and alignment between written and visual content.
  • Tracking asset-delivery schedules to guarantee timely publication and consistency across platforms.

Global Trunk Show Coordination

  • Serving as the Trunk Show Coordinator for The Elephant Way’s global trunk show program.
  • Liaising with regional event partners, hosts, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of all trunk shows.
  • Managing logistics including venue coordination, shipping of products, event setup, digital invites, and follow-up materials.
  • Collaborating with creative, production, and communication teams to align trunk show visuals, messaging, and storytelling.
  • Tracking inventory and post-event metrics for each region and report outcomes to the Founders and core team.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintaining organized contact lists, project archives, and internal databases.
  • Supporting logistics for fieldwork, global events, and team visits.
  • Anticipating needs across departments and proactively streamlining communication and workflow processes.
  • Ensuring alignment and follow-through with the finance team.

Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of experience specifically in project management roles, ideally within the fashion-retail or adjacent consumer-facing fields.
  • Experience with Indigenous or community-based conservation is a significant positive.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Detail oriented, excellent communications skills and good at managing multiple priorities in parallel

Position Details

The Project, Producton & Communications Coordinator will:

  • Report to Alex and Olivia Chantecaille
  • Be based 5 days a week in the Greenwich, Connecticut headquarters, which is shared with the CCF.
