According to CAL FIRE "Embers, not the main fire front, are the leading cause of home ignitions during a wildfire."  The RCD program provides an onsite assessment and installation of vent screens and other mitigations to the most vulnerable areas of a home to meaningfully reduce the risk of ignition.  The positions available offer a chance to work outdoors, provide a valuable service to your neighbors, and get your foot in the door of the world of wildfired risk reduction and natural resource conservation.
