Project Facilitator (Green Sea Turtle Conservation)
Bubbles Turtle Conservation
Pulau Perhentian Besar, Malaysia, Asia
Job Type | Temporary |
Salary Details | Monthly salary |
Deadline | Nov 01, 2024 |
Experience | 2 - 6 years |
Do you have an interest in conserving our endangered green sea turtle population for generations to come? Are you looking for your next role in Marine Conservation?
Bubbles Turtle Conservation is an established Turtle Conservation based in the Perhentian Islands - and we're on the hunt for our next Project Facilitator.
As the Project Facilitator, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Conservation Project and intern team. This includes onboarding new interns, upholding data collection and management (both in the field and in "office"), hatchery maintenance, working with guests, coordinating the BTC Experiential Program and facilitating guest workshops.
What we offer:
- Seasonal role running from March - October 2025
- Based at Bubbles Dive Resort, Pulau Perhentian Besar, Malaysia
- Monthly salary
- Three meals a day and dormitory-style accommodation included
- PADI Dive Certification
What you bring:
- Successful completion of BSc degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science or a related field
- Physically fit and a confident swimmer
- Strong leadership and public speaking skills
- Availability for full duration of the season (seven months)
Please note that, as with all conservation work, this role requires outside work at different hours of the night and day, occasional heavy lifting and the requirement to be on-island for many weeks or months at a time. But, with that in mind, and the sound of working in a hands-on capacity with green sea turtles on an isolated, idyllic beach in Malaysia sounds like you - we'd love to hear from you!
Get in touch if you have any questions or send your Cover Letter and CV to btcprojectfacilitator@gmail.com!
Applications close 1 November 2025.
When you apply, please indicate that you are responding to the posting on Conservation Job Board.
