About the Company 

ArcheWild is a rapidly growing professional ecological restoration firm with clients in PA, NJ, MD, OH, NY, DE, WV. We participate in the design and implementation of stream/river, forest, meadow, and wetland restoration plus the reimagining of large privately-owned farms. ArcheWild also operates ArcheWild Native Nurseries, the 2nd largest private genotyped native plant nursery on the East Coast. 

About You 

We are looking for flexible, experienced professionals who are passionate about working collaboratively on restoration work in the field. Applicants with a proven knowledge of environmental restoration, native plants, and any related subjects from soil health to hydrology, will be prioritized.  

About the Position 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the daily business and financial operations for all aspects of the assigned projects, including but not limited to budgeting and expense management, logistics, customer support and communication, and vendor and subcontractor collaboration. 
  • Oversee the implementation of plans and schedules for other team members and subcontractors. 
  • Communicate proactively with customers to make recommendations, achieve mutually beneficial results, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Assess, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain commercial and residential restoration projects as assigned. 
  • Use best practices in design, plant and material selection, equipment usage, construction, and maintenance to ensure a high-quality result.  
  • Maintain active licenses and certifications.

  • Regularly inspect and service all equipment to ensure safe and effective use. 
  • Actively collaborate with all Project Team members and all ArcheWild staff members to maintain active and open intradepartmental communication and planning. 
  • Create and maintain positive business relationships with all colleagues, customers, vendors, partners, and the community. 
  • Contribute to, and actively seek opportunities for research and development of industry-leading practices. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • BS/MS in Environmental Sciences or other related field and previous project management or senior-level customer service experience. 


  • Minimum of 4 years of restoration or related industry experience 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred 

Terms of Employment 

  • Full time, year-round 
  • $40,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience 
  • Eligible for benefits 
  • Employment begins ASAP
