The Regional Park Superintendent III will have a unique opportunity to provide leadership and strategic oversight for both the new Environmental Justice Center and Esperanza Hills Regional Park. Reporting to a Regional Operations Manager, this position will oversee the overall operation of both facilities, including staff, day-to-day operations, programming, maintenance, community engagement, partnerships, and the coordination of services across the park and Center.

This role will help shape how the Environmental Justice Center and Esperanza Hills Regional Park serve surrounding communities for years to come. The Regional Park Superintendent III will provide leadership in developing and delivering programs and experiences that recognize and honor the cultural and historical significance of the environmental injustices experienced by nearby communities, while supporting efforts to address environmental challenges that continue today.

Through strong operational leadership, community partnerships, educational and interpretive programming, and effective management of park resources, the Regional Park Superintendent III will help ensure both facilities serve as welcoming destinations for education, recreation, reflection, and community connection.
