Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support restoration projects including riparian invasive plant removal, upland restoration, water quality monitoring, and wildlife corridors.
• Coordinate with volunteer community scientists and contract crews on projects including Otter Spotter, Bioblitz, bird surveys, vegetation monitoring and more.
• Lead field trips of school age students and classroom follow up visits.
• Assist in planning and coordination restoration volunteer events (MLK Day, Public Lands Day)
• Lead environmental education for community members, field trips, tourists, etc.

30-hour plus work availability per week preferred. Workspace will be a combination of field based work with a hybrid office/ remote arrangement. This is for a 20 week position.
