Restoration Field Operations Manager
Big Sur Land Trust | Salinas & Monterey, CA
Big Sur Land Trust is seeking a Restoration Field Operations Manager to help steward 67 acres of restored wetlands, grasslands, and upland habitat at Ensen Community Park in Salinas.
This hands-on role will lead habitat restoration and field operations, including vegetation management, irrigation system oversight, ecological monitoring, contractor coordination, and volunteer engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about conservation, enjoys working outdoors, and is excited to help ensure the long-term success of a landmark restoration project that benefits both wildlife and the community.
Salary: $80,000-$92,000 annually
Qualifications:
- Experience in habitat restoration, land management, natural resources, landscaping, or a related field
- Experience with irrigation systems and field operations
- Knowledge of restoration ecology and vegetation management
- GIS/GPS experience preferred
- Strong leadership and project management skills
