As a Supervisory Sanctuary Superintendent, you will perform the following duties:
- Develop and implement site-based sanctuary program functions and collaborate with government and non-government entities and stakeholders in support of sanctuary programs and policies.
- Direct the day-to-day implementation and execution of the organization's administrative and financial operations, to include multiyear and longer budget and agreements.
- Carry out policies and purposes of the National Marine Sanctuaries Act, relevant presidential proclamations, executive orders, and oversee development of plans and programs for both short and long time frames to conserve, protect, enhance, restore, investigate, and manage sanctuary resources through research and outreach.
- Exercise supervisory authority over site-based sanctuary program staff and manage the human resources functions and staffing planning for programs.
