Boulder is a city shaped by people and powered by purpose.  With over 300 miles of dedicated bikeways and more than 150 miles of hiking trails, Boulder values active lifestyles and access to nature. Forty-six thousand acres of protected land provide open space for recreation, natural environments, and a green belt around the city. In addition to athletic fields and playgrounds, the Parks and Recreation department manages ecosystems throughout the urban areas like the wetlands on the north side of the Pleasant View Soccer Complex or the beloved Coot Lake natural area. 

In this position you will enhance your field-based natural resource operations experience in multiple disciplines including:

• Vegetation management (integrated pest management and restoration)
• Natural lands maintenance
• Wildlife management
• Visitor management

This is a full time (40 hours per week), seasonal position that will last 6 months and will start around the end of April.
