Seasonal Park Laborer

Under supervision, perform manual labor necessary to develop, maintain or protect natural resources through such activities as maintaining campgrounds, restrooms, and buildings, maintaining and operating vehicles and landscaping equipment, assisting park visitors and completing log books as required.
The position is labor intensive to include: digging, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting, as well as standing for long periods of time. The position requires the use of various hand and power tools, as well as operating vehicles and heavy equipment. One may be required to work in adverse weather conditions, extreme cold and heat for extended periods of time. Shift work may be required on holidays or during park events. Emergency maintenance situations may also arise requiring extended hours of work. Sitting at a desk or computer workstation may also be required.
