We are seeking a Stewardship Technician for the 2026 field season. The Stewardship Technician will be a member of the Natural Area Stewardship team, dedicated to the care and maintenance of the Leelanau Conservancy’s 30 natural areas, which encompass nearly 4,000 acres and 58 miles of trails. The Stewardship Technician will complete a diverse set of tasks associated with enhancing the ecology and sustainability of the natural area habitats as well as ensuring safe and accessible recreational trails and infrastructure.

The position is full-time, hourly, and seasonal; up to 24 weeks from May to October 2026. The Stewardship Technician is based in Leland, Michigan, with travel around Leelanau County required. The salary range for this position is $22 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
