The Stewardship Technician is a temporary position that assists the stewardship team in ecological restoration, trail and public access maintenance, and monitoring work on Land Trust protected lands.


  • Support stewardship field work, as assigned.
  • Trail construction and maintenance.
  • Assist with volunteer work parties.
  • Assist other Land Trust staff, as assigned.
  • Support outreach events, as assigned.
  • Drive work vehicles to sites across the island, including a F-150 with a trailer.
  • Some examples of technician projects include:
    o Invasive plant removal.
    o Watering and maintenance of native plantings.
    o Public access and trail maintenance.
    o Creation of posts for our social media platforms.
