American YouthWorks’ Texas Conservation Corps (TXCC) is recruiting API (Asian and Pacific Islander) young adults 18 to 35 years old for a Summer 2024 AmeriCorps term of service.

The API 2024 Summer crew aims to make environmental careers more accessible for API young adults.

Crew members will learn to address environmental issues through the completion of on-site, skills-based projects on public lands. They will have opportunities to explore careers in conservation work.

Educational Requirement: High School Diploma/GED

Average Age Range: 18-35

Available Positions: 1 crew leader & 5 crew members 

Term Dates: 6/10/2024 - 8/9/2024 (300 HOUR TERM: Minimal-time)

Compensation (AmeriCorps Living Allowance)

Crew Leaders: $2,720 per month ($1360 semi-monthly)

Crew Member: $2,400 per month ($1200 semi-monthly)
