Job Summary:
The Tree and Shrub Assistant Production Manager will assist in the production of the highest quality native woody tree and shrub species. In coordination with the Tree and Shrub Production Manager help to identify seed collection sites, plant propagation, and production and maintenance procedures. They will contribute to other Boreal Native service and retail activities, including greenhouse production as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implements operations and maintenance activities within established operating guidelines
- Assists with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting in accordance with operational, safety, regulatory, and environmental performance requirements
- Monitor each projects performance in terms of comparison with expected results and key performance indicators.
- Ensures that on-site activities at each facility are conducted in a safety-conscious manner.
- Ensures jobs are completed profitably, on time, within budget, and done safely
- Allocates personnel in a way that will positively impact efficiency and profitability.
- Assists with Planning, directing, and coordinating operations by implementing policies, daily operational activities and planning use of materials and human resources toward maximum productivity.
- Ensures customer satisfaction is achieved and continually maintained by the efforts of the Operations personnel
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and managerial skills necessary to motivate and manage field operations team
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database applications
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Inside and outside work spring, summer, fall. Able to perform frequent bending, reaching, digging, squatting and lifting of product.
