Summer Job/Internship Opportunity: Urban Forestry Workforce Development Program
We’re a small nonprofit in Talent, Oregon focused on restoring urban forests and supporting community resilience—especially in areas impacted by the Almeda Fire.

We’re hiring two part-time, seasonal team members to join our hands-on Workforce Development Program. This paid opportunity is perfect for students, early-career professionals, or anyone looking to explore the green industry.

Pay: $18/hour
Seasonal: June–August (with potential to extend)
Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours
Location: On-site in Talent, Oregon

You’ll learn skills in tree care (including climbing, pruning, mulching), tool use and maintenance (yes, even chainsaws!), tree nursery work, community outreach, environmental education, and nonprofit operations like grant writing and program development.

We’re looking for team members who are:

• 18+ years old
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Excited to make a positive impact in their community
