Volunteer Biology Technician for Wildcat Non-profit
Felidae Conservation Fund
Mill Valley, California
Felidae Conservation Fund is recruiting a volunteer biology technician to assist in managing and maintaining parts of our large-scale wildlife camera network in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previous experience with scientific data collection and fieldwork is a bonus. This is ideal for anyone looking to get more experience in wildlife science and field work (e.g. current or recent undergraduates). Volunteers must be based in the SF Bay Area and have reliable transportation in order to check camera traps on a regular basis. Besides fieldwork, this also involves cataloging of images from our camera trap network, for at least 2 hours a week. This requires a reliable internet connection as this is done through our cloud-based software.
Volunteers must commit to at least 12 months.
Thank you for expressing your interest in volunteering with Felidae Conservation Fund! We are excited to learn more about you and to share details about how you can support our mission to conserve wild cat species and their habitats through science and education.
