Our Wilderness Corps trail crews to the hard work it takes to service the most remote Forest Service trails across southwest Oregon, northwest California and beyond. Backpack into deepwoods project sites and spend eight to 14 days at a time removing logs, cutting thick brush, and rebuilding forgotten trails in the most remote pockets of this region acclaimed for its biodiversity and natural history.

On off-trail days, participate in required activities including:
- whitewater rafting
- visits to national destinations like Crater Lake and the California Redwoods
- Vocational and civic engagement workshops
- Classroom training activities to gain natioanlly-recognized qualifications.
On off-days, stay in campgrounds, motels and hostels in Ashland, OR., a college town (Southern Oregon University) with an artsy twist. Multiple term options with start dates on June 1 and June 25. Earn an $1,800 monthly stipend payed in pro-rated installments after returning from work hitches.
