About the Role

The Wildlife Restoration Foundation (WRF), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is seeking a motivated and resourceful Vendor & Exhibitor Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a volunteer basis in support of our upcoming North American Summit on Collaborating with Wildlife (CW Summit) and second North American Bison Summit (NABS2). This is a remote, flexible role ideal for someone who is passionate about wildlife, ocean and environmental causes and wants to contribute meaningfully to purpose-driven events benefitting wildlife. After a 2-month evaluation period, there is an opportunity to receive a modest stipend based on performance and demonstrated success in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors whose products, services, or missions align with the focus of each Summit
  • Proactively reach out to prospective vendors and exhibitors via email, phone, and social media to generate interest and confirm participation
  • Maintain an organized database of vendor contacts, outreach status, and confirmed commitments
  • Follow up consistently with leads to move them through the recruitment pipeline
  • Collaborate with the Summit teams to ensure vendor needs and expectations are clearly communicated
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to Summits Team leadership

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in successfully recruiting vendors and exhibitors for major events
  • Prior experience in sales and pre- and at-event exhibitor coordination a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple contacts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Genuine passion for wildlife, and interest in ocean conservation, the recovery of bison, environmental sustainability, or related fields
  • Proficiency with basic tools such as email, spreadsheets, and virtual communication platforms (Zoom, Slack, Excel, Canva)
