As a Veterinary Assistant at RAREC, you will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in wildlife medicine while actively supporting the veterinary team in daily clinical care. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations and treatments, anesthesia and procedures, sample collection, hospital and quarantine care, diagnostics, medication and record keeping, as well as helping teach and supervise veterinary students and interns during practical activities. All responsibilities are assigned according to your experience and progressively increase as your skills develop, under the supervision of the veterinary team.
