This position regularly travels to remote locations within Grand County Utah, including the Book Cliffs, the Green and Colorado Rivers, La Sal mountains, and everything in between. This position offers a wide variety of experiences and skill development, with many opportunities for training and relevant certifications.
Competency in rafting, chainsaw use, plant identification, hand tool use, hiking, camping, and data collection is preferred, although on-the-job training will be provided. Daily tasks often require lots of lifting, bending, stooping, digging, and walking. There are times where multi-day backcountry camping is necessary.
