Part-time Wildlife Technician-Road Ecology
Wildlands Network

Organizational Overview:
Wildlands Network is a nonprofit conservation organization committed to reconnecting, restoring and rewilding North America, so that life—in all its diversity—can thrive. We have staff throughout the continent working with NGO partners, landowners, elected officials and government agencies to protect, maintain and restore wildlife habitats and movement corridors. Wildlands Network is committed to recruiting, training and retaining talented, diverse and creative staff who are passionate about fulfilling our mission. Since 1991, Wildlands Network has used science-based approaches to study wildlife conservation across North America. We commonly use camera trapping, GPS tracking, and roadkill surveys, as well as develop habitat and connectivity models, to identify, understand, and inform policies that improve conservation for wildlife species. Wildlands Network has several ongoing projects throughout the southeastern United States with a specific emphasis in the western North Carolina region.
